About the Founder!
Hello, and welcome! My name is Aninditha Sriramasubramanian. I am a rising Junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Texas A&M University, and the proud founder of Youth Educational Services for All (YES for ALL).
As a first-generation Indian-American student, a large part of my journey has been discovering my passions through the experiences of my parents, my peers, and my community. This journey led me to a deep love for computer science, education, and the guiding principle of selfless service. Giving back to the community that helped build a life for me is ingrained in who I am. I find a special joy in ensuring that every individual has what they need to thrive, and I firmly believe that making a positive impact through acts of kindness is life’s greatest reward.
My dedication to community service has been nurtured throughout my life by my parents and my early work in Girl Scouts, and I am incredibly grateful to have been recognized by the Hindus of Greater Houston for my commitment to selfless service.
My specific passion for teaching was shaped by my long history with Kumon. Starting as a student at just two and a half years old, I studied there until I was almost sixteen, eventually stepping into a role as a teacher and youth employee. For nearly two years, I dedicated myself to nurturing young minds, working tirelessly to provide the best education possible for my students. That firsthand experience in shaping a brighter future for the next generation became the driving force behind the establishment of YES for ALL, a platform created to mobilize young volunteers and provide free, accessible education to underprivileged children.
Furthermore, my profound interest in computer science fuels my drive to explore how technology can solve the world’s most pressing problems. At Texas A&M, I am expanding my technical foundation in software engineering, enterprise data architecture, and AI, and I am continuing to build my industry experience. By merging my technical knowledge with my unwavering dedication to community service, I am able to envisage a future where education is no longer considered a privilege, but a fundamental human right.
Beyond academics and technology, I am a deeply creative person. I have passionately cultivated my skills in Indian Carnatic Music for over 13 years under the guidance of my Guru, Smt. Rajarajeswari Bhat, and have had the honor of performing at various revered temples and stages. I am also a vocalist for Swaram, Texas A&M’s national championship-winning a cappella team, and I enjoy exploring visual arts and modeling.
Through YES for ALL, it is my sincere desire to play a part in igniting passion within young individuals. By empowering youth to volunteer, lead, and effect change, we can become catalysts for progress and positively shape succeeding generations.
